Bowls For All In Clarence Park

Bowls For All

Situated just a few minutes stroll from the Sea-Front and the Sandy Weston-Super-Mare beach, our home is hidden away in the beautiful and quiet Clarence Park.
Surrounded by trees and nature, you can not help but want to visit Our Surroundings.

Then there are the 3 Outdoor Greens and Petanque, not to mention the fully licensed Clubhouse which includes facilities that help extend our hospitality .

Our members are renowned as friendly and welcoming. As a Club, we ensure all our members are provided with the best of everything from our sport.

Throughout the year, we have something for everyone –

Outdoors where play on Our Greens whether it be Social Bowling or being involved in league / cup matches and in-house competitions., we compete against both local and teams from around the Area.

Clarence Bowling Club – along with its sister club, Wessex Ladies BC – and in conjunction with the Clarence Park Bowling Association – is delighted to offer this great sport of ours to everyone, regardless of age, gender or disability.

We are particularly experienced in bowls for the Visually Impaired – our membership including a former National Champion & International and the current England Team Manager (who is also Coach for the VI members of Disability Bowls England).

We host the annual Weston-super-Mare Visually Impaired Open Singles Tournament in May (supported by the Lions Club of Weston-super-Mare) and, in 2019 we hosted the Visually Impaired Bowls England National Championships.

We have disabled toilet facilities, ramped access to the clubhouse and greens and have a ‘buggy’ wheelchair for use on the greens.

In June 2018 we hosted the UK Home Nations Championships for the disabled.
